We Get Many Questions  About Potty Training And What To Do When You Bring Home Your Shorkie Puppies.
 




First thing to do is RELAX! Do not have high expectations the first few days and really just focus on the puppy getting acclimated to its new environment. 
 
One of the biggest mistakes puppy parents make is having to high of expectations when the new baby arrives home and it causes for unnecessary stress for both the new owner and the puppy.
 
Set up and area with a litter box of wee wee pads inside of an exercise pen with bed food and water at one end and potty are at the other.
When you cannot watch your new puppy like a HAWK! you need to have him or her in the area you have set up for them.
 
Accidents are bound to happen! Do not react or OVER REACT.. just clean it up and keep it moving.  Reward the great behavior and IGNORE the behaviors you do not want them to repeat.
 
Punishing a puppy for accidents is NEVER and option.
